MasterChef Live wins top award

Friday night saw The Exhibition News Awards take place at the Lancaster Hotel with MasterChef live scooping <b>Best Launch Show 2009</b>. MasterChef Live captured the imagination of the food loving nation by bringing to life the hugely popular TV programme to life -. Key elements of the show were MasterChefs most iconic challenge the Invention Test which saw contestants cook in front of a live audience to a win the chance of being judged by John Torode and Greg Wallace. MasterChef vs MasterChef cook offs were held between previous winners of the programme in front of a live audience to see who cooked the best dish. <b>Judges John Torode</b>, <b>Gregg Wallace</b>, <b>Michel Roux</b> and <b>Monica Galletti</b> all played a large role in the success and popularity of the launch, hosting live demonstrations and giving visitors the chance to see their favourite judges! Plus Masterclasses and hot tip pods were set up around the show where visitors could learn skills from programme winners including fish filleting, joint carving and pasta making.
