The BBC is launching a new classical music competition. This is a music competition with a difference as it aims not only to discover new talent but also to develop and nurture the participants' musicianship by combining a competition with a specialist residential music school. The prize will be a recording contract including a bursary with a top classical music label. The competition will appear as a five part prime time series on BBC2.
