Britain's Best 2008
Britain's Best 2008 is an annual and unique televised awards ceremony that celebrates those who have excelled in their chosen field over the course of the last twelve months. They will have made a significant achievement since May last year, been successful on an international level and are a proud ambassador of the UK.
The awards ceremony was held on Sunday 18th May at The London Studios.
There are nine award categories including The Arts, Campaigner, Sport, Music and Film, alongside the Walkers Home Grown New Talent Award - recognising some of the outstanding achievements of Britain's young talent. Nominees this year include: JK Rowling, Sir Elton John, James McAvoy and Lewis Hamilton.
