ROUND ONE - 'World of Extremes'. Each team faces three images but do Dominic and his partner know for example which moves the fastest: a snail, a space vehicle or mysterious stones? And will Lee's team know which is the biggest killer - the castor oil plant, deadly nightshade or the rosary pea? Lots of amazing facts are revealed before we find out the right answer.
ROUND TWO - 'Time Bomb'. It's Lee and his partners turn to go first. Choosing from three events (for example a mascot race, a tube journey or a man juggling balls upside down) can they decide which will be the quickest? It's an important decision, as the time it takes for the event to play (on VT) is how long the opposition have to answer as many questions as possible (ranging from What's the softest metal? to What do you call a female cow?). We hear the questions, we see the event and also witness a little bit of cheating - it's very competitive! And then the roles swap as Dominic and his partner choose a second event against which Lee's team answer questions.
ROUND THREE - 'Experimental'. Meet 'Naked Scientist' (not literally) Dr Chris Smith. From firing beams of light across the studio to demonstrating a home made bazooka, will the teams be able to predict the results of his crazy experiments. And what's more, Dr Chris is very keen we try these out at home - all in the name of education of course!
THE FINAL ROUND - 'Factoid Frenzy'. Blink and you've no chance. A VT, packed with amazing facts and incredible images is played to both teams. For example, we see raging forest fires and 1920's cars racing around Paris. We learn that a snake can lay over 100 eggs at once and that PI has been calculated to nearly 1000 trillion places. There are over thirty facts, figures and images to take in. But how much can the teams remember? On the buzzer and against the clock, we're about to find out.
The What In The World? Quiz, giving you the world in 30 minutes... It's the all-action, family quiz show, with the emphasis firmly on entertainment.
