Battle of the Brains 2

With new host Nicky Campbell at the helm, two teams of competitive quizzers will face questions that severely test their general knowledge across 5 different types of battle - speed, memory, wisdom, nerve and identity, in a succession of rounds designed to test the most hardened quiz fans to become Britain's brightest brains.

Round one will give players the opportunity to have every inch of their brain power put to the test with non-stop rounds of intelligent quizzing on categories such as Art, Great Britain, Literature, Politics, The Classical World and Transport and Technology, amongst others.

In round two Captains are offered questions by Nicky and nominate players from the opposing team to answer the question. If a player answers their question correctly they remain in the game, give an incorrect answer they are eliminated from the round. This continues until one team has been completely eliminated (including the captain).

In round three each team require outstanding General Knowledge but team members must also have their own specialist subject area which will be put to the test. With 90 seconds to win the prize fund the captain must nominate the team member they believe is best equipped to answer each question. With each correct answer their light goes on. The object of the round is to have a chain of six questions answered correctly by six different players to win the prize. If any of the team answer incorrectly, all team lights go off and they start again.

The all important Captain's Question will be faced by the winning team at the end of the show to determine whether or not they return to fight again as reigning champions. The cream of competitive quizzing will stop at nothing to win the Battle of the Brains.
