Battle Of the Boybands is a 90 minute documentary special for Channel 4 to make up part of Channel 4's boyband night... By deconstructing the boyband as a genre it will be looking at what makes a truly great boyband. As far as the content of the show goes this series will only include interviews with band members, managers, producers, publicists and celebrity fans etc and the interviewees will take a nostalgic and celebratory look at boybands from the likes of New edition and The Osmonds to Nsync and Blue. This show is the definitive look at the role of boybands and the development of the boyband phenomenon.
