Julia joined Shine in March 2012 as Head of Creative Resources, having been with Princess Productions since 2010. Prior to this, Julia was Head of Talent at Monkey Kingdom for five years. Before moving into talent Julia began her career as a researcher on The Big Breakfast; the obvious place from which to move to the BBC Science Department, something she found very enjoyable if not a little surprising given her results for science at school. She happily admits that finding and securing the best talent for Shine is the best job she's ever had, and that includes travelling round the world with the BBC and booking bands for Zig and Zag.
